“Call out to me, and I will answer you. I will tell you great things, hidden things of which you are unaware.” Jeremiah 33:3
Our Lord, the Creator of all, blesses us with dreams. Our dreams hold purpose. It is best to pray for wisdom, discernment, and understanding when the unfolding begins.
Daniel was given interpretations of dreams in the “night visions” and he responded with a blessing…
“Blessed be the name of God from eternity past to eternity future! For wisdom and power are his alone; he brings the changes of seasons and times; he installs and deposes kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those with discernment. He reveals deep and secret things; he knows what lies in the darkness; and light dwells with him. I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors, for giving me wisdom and power, and revealing to me what we wanted from you, for giving us the answer for the king.”
Daniel 2: 20-23
Nothing that is hidden will remain hidden. All will be revealed. There will be a day when His Light pierces every shadow and corner of darkness.
When Pharaoh had two dreams, both with the same interpretation communicated by Joseph, it was because the matter was sealed by God and was to unfold soon.
In the book of Job, Elihu exhorted, “In a dream, in a vision at night, when slumber falls upon people, as they sleep in their beds, he opens people’s ears and seals the matter with a warning, to turn a person away from his action and protect a man from pride, so that he will keep himself away from the pit and from perishing by the sword.” Job 33:15-18.
Pay attention. Make it a matter of prayer. Ask God what He is showing you. Is He showing you prophecy? Is He warning you of something so that you may not be entrapped by a snare? Is He teaching you something? Ask the Revealer of Secrets, the One who knows All; for nothing escapes His notice. Adonai Tzva’ot, the God of Angel Armies, the Alpha and the Omega and the One He sent, Jesus, loves you and knows you. He is Truth and the Source of all that is pure, untainted, holy and real. It is only by abiding in Him that one can remain untouched by the deceiver.
