Are we there yet? Signs and Markers.

“‘Call out to me, and I will answer you I will tell you great things, hidden things of which you are unaware.'” Jeremiah 33: 3 CJB

I’m just going to jump right into it. The other night I prayed this prayer: “Lord, if the Rapture is happening soon will you please show me a shooting star?” Two nights later I saw a shooting star. To some of you this may sound coincidental but the One who holds the stars in His hands also controls where He sends them.

I know this scripture to be true: “But when that day and hour will come, no one knows — not the angels in heaven, not the Son, only the Father.” Matthew 24:36. I will never attempt to set a date nor predict the exact day or hour

But I also take heed to Luke 21: 34 which states, “But keep watch on yourselves, or your hearts will become dulled by carousing, drunkenness and the worries of everyday living, and that Day will be sprung upon you suddenly like a trap!” and Matthew 24:32-33, “Now let the fig tree teach you its lesson: when its branches begin to sprout and leaves appear, you know that summer is approaching. In the same way, when you see all these things, you are to know that the time is near, right at the door. ” That day should not come upon us like a trap and if we are paying attention then we will know when we are right at the door.

We may not know on which day the Lord will be coming but we can stay alert.

Why stars though?

God said, “Let there be lights in the dome of the sky to divide the day from the night; let them be for signs, seasons, days and years;” Genesis 1: 14

He created them, set them in their place and intended for them to be markers. When Has the Lord used the stars to be a marker?

“After Yeshua was born in Beit-Lechem in the land of Y’hudah during the time when Herod was king, Magi from the east came to Yerushalayim and asked, ‘Where is the newborn King of the Jews? For we saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.” Matthew 2: 1-2 CJB.
“After they had listened to the king, they went away; and the star which they had seen in the east went in front of them until it came and stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. ” Matthew 2: 9-10 CJB.

When they saw the star they overjoyed! I, too, will rejoice in seeing this star when I did!

The Lord used a star to mark the Messiah’s birth fulfilling Numbers 24:17, “I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not soon -a star will step forth from Ya’akov, a scepter will arise from Isra’el…”

“Can you tie up the cords of the Pleiades or loosen the belt of Orion?  Can you lead out the constellations of the zodiac in their season or guide the Great Bear and its cubs?  Do you know the laws of the sky? Can you determine how they affect the earth?” Job 38: 31-33 CJB.

I will not question the Lord. I will take Him at His Word. We see here in Job that He set the Pleiades and the belt of Orion in their place. He leads out the constellations of the zodiac in their season. He created the ‘laws of the sky’ and determines how they affect us.

As we celebrate the birth of our Messiah let us be reminded that He will come again soon. Just like He faithfully led the Magi of the east by His star and sent His angels to the shepherd boys in field, He will also be faithful to give us markers as well so that we may know when we are right at the door.

I should also mention that the Lord has also given me another sign or ‘marker’ with multiple confirmations. We recently had the Winter Solstice on 12/21/17. I have never paid any attention to winter solstices to be honest but I felt drawn this time to pay attention. I looked up some basic information about the Winter Solstice and I learned that “it marks the exact moment when the sun’s most direct rays southernmost point south of the equator, along the Tropic of Capricorn,”. The Tropic of Capricorn is called this because, “When the [line was] named 2000 years ago, the Sun was in the constellation of Capricorn during the winter solstice…” However, this is no longer the case. It currently, “lies within the boundaries of the constellation Sagittarius” The constellation Sagittarius is known as “The Archer”. I am led to Revelation 6: 2, “I looked, and there in front of me was a white horse; its rider had a bow and was given a crown; and he rode off as a conqueror to conquer.”  This horseman is the first seal broken by the Lamb in the Book of Revelation and is interpreted as the prophesied “lawless one” or “Antichrist”.

I don’t want to lose you here. I know this sounds like I am digging. However, the three confirmations I was given to confirm this cannot be ignored. Confirmations:
  1. At the exact moment I was reading an article about the constellation Sagittarius being known as “The Archer” my coworker, was telling me a story about her husband being an Archer practicing Archery.
  2. My friend, Andrea, messaged me on Facebook letting me know that her music box with a white carousel horse played mysteriously at 3:50am while everyone else was asleep. She took a video of it later on for me to see it and it is definitely a white horse. Watch it below!
  3. The third piece of confirmation I received was a news story that came up on Google News. A Snake-like fiery cosmic filament seems to be entering a black-hole called Sagittarius A (Sgr-A).Here is the article I had read. You can more about it here!

I cannot deny the three confirmations that were given. I do believe the Lord is also warning us that the first seal has been broken or is about to be broken. So be watchful and stay awake brothers and sisters.

Jesus loves you all so much! Remember, “that if you acknowledge publicly with your mouth that Yeshua [Jesus] is Lord and trust in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be delivered.” Romans 10: 9.
