The wind of change.

I had a dream last night. While praying about it I was led to two messages. One message for the true, faithful, uncompromising lovers of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) and another for those that are still standing far off. Before I begin, I understand this message can be heavy but the Lord also provides comfort to those who return to Him and draw near to Him. You choose today whom you will serve.

The Dream.

A strong wind came and brought different types of large cats (a cheetah, panther, lions, etc) to my home in the middle of the countryside surrounded by foliage and trees. They came in my home for refuge. I walked around to make sure their was no conflict between them and that my cat Twilight was safe. The powerful wind stopped. I didn’t want to let the large cats back outside for fear that they would be killed. They were now in another’s territory and if found would be killed.

To the sons & daughters faithful & true to our Lord and Messiah Yeshua.

What I noticed about this dream were three very clear points.

  1. The wind of change was coming and it will be powerful.
  2. These animals were scattered and now in exile in another’s territory.
  3. They had a home/refuge of safety.

“Therefore, say that Adonai ELOHIM says this: ‘True, I removed them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries; nevertheless, I have been a little sanctuary for them in the countries to which they have gone.’ Therefore, say that Adonai ELOHIM says this; ‘I will gather you from the peoples and collect you from the countries you have been scattered, and I will give the land of Isra’el to you.’ Then they will go there and remove all its loathsome things and disgusting practices, and I will give them unity of heart. ‘I will put a new spirit among you.’ I will remove from their bodies the hearts of stone and give them hearts of flesh; so that they will live by my regulations, obey my rulings and act by them. Then they will be my people, and I will be their God. But as for those whose hearts go after the heart of their loathsome things and disgusting practices, I will bring [the consequences of] their ways on their own heads,’ says Adonai ELOHIM.'” Ezekiel 11:16-21 CJB.

The powerful wind of change is coming. We may be scattered into exile but He will be a sanctuary for us and then collect us. We will be part of His plan to go back, remove the loathsome things and disgusting practices and give unity of heart. He will put a new spirit among us. He will remove the hearts of stone and replace them with hearts of flesh so that faithfulness, love and obedience may flourish. Those that insist on going after the heart of their sin will have to face the consequences.

To the ones still standing far off (unbelieving) & lukewarm in the church. Does this sound at all familiar?

I was led to 2 Kings 17. I encourage you to read this and see if any of this sounds at all familiar.

“In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Ashur captured Shomron (Samaria). He carried Isra’el away captive to Ashur, resettling them in Halach, in Havor on the Gozan River and in the cities of the Medes.

This came about because the people of Isra’el had sinned against Adonai their God, who had brought them out of the land of Egypt, out from under the domination of Pharaoh king of Egypt. They feared other gods and lived by the customs of the nations that Adonai had expelled ahead of the people of Isra’el and by those of the kings of Isra’el. The people of Isra’el secretly did things that were not right, according to Adonai their God. They built high places for themselves wherever they lived, from the watchtower to the fortified city. They set up standing-stones and sacred poles (memorial stones) for themselves on any high hill and under any green tree. Then they would make offerings on all the high places, like the nations Adonai had expelled ahead of them, and would do wicked things to provoke the anger of Adonai; moreover, they served idols, something Adonai had expressly told them not to do. Adonai had warned Isra’el and Y’hudah in advance through every prophet and seer, “Turn from your evil ways; and obey my mitzvot and regulations, in accordance with the entire Torah which I ordered your ancestors to keep and which I sent to you through my servants the prophets.” Nevertheless, they refused to listen but made themselves as stubborn as their ancestors, who did not put their trust in Adonai their God. Thus they rejected his laws; his covenant, which he had made with their ancestors; and the solemn warnings he had given them. Instead they pursued worthless things and became worthless themselves, imitating the nations around them, whom Adonai had ordered them not to emulate. They abandoned all the mitzvot of Adonai their God. They made cast metal images for themselves, two calves. They made an asherah. They worshipped the whole army of heaven. They served Ba‘al. They had their sons and daughters pass through fire [as a sacrifice]. They used divination and magic spells. And they gave themselves over to do what was evil from Adonai’s perspective, thereby provoking him; so that Adonai, by now very angry with Isra’el, removed them from his sight. None was left except the tribe of Y’hudah alone. (However, neither did Y’hudah obey the mitzvot of Adonai their God; rather they lived according to the customs of Isra’el.)

Yes, Adonai came to despise all the descendants of Isra’el. He caused them trouble and handed them over to plunderers, until finally he threw them out of his sight.  He tore Isra’el away from the house of David. They made Yarov‘am the son of N’vat king; and Yarov‘am drew Isra’el away from following Adonai and made them commit a great sin. The people of Isra’el followed the example of all the sins that Yarov‘am had committed and did not turn away from them, until Adonai removed Isra’el out of his sight, as he had said he would through all his servants the prophets. Thus Isra’el was carried away captive from their own land to Ashur, and it remains so to this day.

The king of Ashur brought people from Bavel, Kutah, ‘Ava, Hamat and S’farvayim and settled them in the cities of Shomron in place of the people of Isra’el; they took possession of Shomron and lived in its cities. When they first came to live there, they did not fear Adonai. Therefore Adonai sent lions among them, which killed some of them. So they said to the king of Ashur, “The nations you carried away and settled in the cities of Shomron are not familiar with the rules for worshipping the God of the land. Therefore he has sent lions among them; and they are there, killing them; because they’re not familiar with the rules for worshipping the God of the land.” In response, the king of Ashur gave this order: “Take back one of the cohanim ( Jewish priests) you brought from there. Have him go and live there, and have him teach them the rules for worshipping the God of the land.” So one of the cohanim they had carried away captive from Shomron came and lived in Beit-El (House of God), and he taught them how they should fear Adonai.

Nevertheless, every nation made gods of their own and put them in the temples on the high places which the Shomronim (Samarians) had made, every nation in the cities where they lived. Thus the people from Bavel made Sukkot-B’not, those from Kutah made Nergal, those from Hamat made Ashima, the ‘Avim made Nivchaz and Tartak, and the S’farvim burned up their children in the fire as sacrifices to Adramelekh and ‘Anamelekh the gods of S’farvayim(they made false gods/goddesses/sacrificed children). So they feared Adonai, while at the same time they appointed for themselves priests from among themselves to preside at the high places, and they would sacrifice for them in the temples on the high places. They both feared Adonai and served their own gods in the manner customary among the nations from which they had been taken away. To this day they continue to follow their former [pagan] customs. They do not fear Adonai. They do not follow the regulations, rulings, Torah or mitzvah which Adonai ordered the descendants of Ya‘akov, to whom he gave the name Isra’el, with whom Adonai had made a covenant and charged them, “Do not fear other gods or bow down to them, serve them or sacrifice to them. On the contrary, you are to fear Adonai, who brought you out of the land of Egypt with great power and an outstretched arm. Worship him, and sacrifice to him. You are to observe forever the laws, rulings, Torah and mitzvah which he wrote for you. You are not to fear other gods, and you are not to forget the covenant I made with you. No, you must not fear other gods but must fear Adonai your God; then he will rescue you from the power of all your enemies.” However, they didn’t listen, but followed their old [pagan] practices. So these nations mixed fearing Adonai with serving their carved idols; likewise their children; and to this day, their descendants do the same as their ancestors did.” 2 Kings 17:6-41 CJB

I know this is a lot. But if we are truly honest with ourselves we’ll admit that there are parallels between 2 Kings 17 and our country and even parts of the church. I don’t expect this to be a popular message. What we need to hear and what we want to hear are often two very different things. I communicate this in love and tell you that I once was standing far off and lukewarm as well. So here goes.

Our country and even parts of the church (catholic included) claim to be a Nation or Church under God but are mixing fear of the Lord with loads of idolatry. We have memorial stones, carved images and idols strewn all over this country and the church (especially catholic) when the Lord was crystal clear about this.

“You are not to make for yourselves a carved image or any kind of representation of anything in heaven above, on the earth beneath, or in the water below the shoreline.” Exodus 20:4

I don’t see any exceptions allowed for war heroes, princes, presidents, angels, or even the saints and virgin Mary.

Some will argue that this only applied to worship. Well…is praying to, kneeling down in front of, or simply admiring count? The definition of worship is to bow down to, stoop down to, admire, adore, express reverence.

Then we come to child sacrifice. In our country, does child sacrifice happen? Do we end life or cut it short? I believe this is pretty clear as well. Abortion.

Do you see divination taking place? Luck, superstitions, psychic readings, horoscopes, etc.

Does our nation truly fear God? Or do we mix pagan practices with our ‘fear of the Lord’? Let me begin by stating that I, too, was among those who believed it was harmless to have santa and the easter bunny saturate the celebrations of Christmas and Easter. But whether you believe in our Lord Yeshua or not it is wrong. The Lord kept me up all night a few years back putting this on my heart. If you believe in Yeshua (Jesus) then isn’t the birth of our Messiah and Resurrection beautiful and wonderful all on it’s own! You are saying that He is not enough for you and your children but we need to add things like reindeer, santa, and an easter bunny. The Lord clearly states in scripture that we shall not lie, deceive nor place stumbling blocks in front of our children. We break their trust and then expect them to still believe and trust everything else we say. It plants a seed of skepticism and corrodes their childlike faith & wonder. To the unbelievers, well, it’s just plain dishonest and deceptive. Telling your children something exists when you know very well it doesn’t is just plain wrong.

The Lord loves us. Any loving parent would want to warn their children many times before they see them have to reap the consequences of their behavior. I will join you all in prayer that the Lord gives us all eyes to truly see and ears that truly hear so that we may have the wisdom and discernment needed to repent. I pray that the Grace of God comes upon you to empower you to walk with Him hand in hand.

Exile may come. But He is calling you to Him so that you do not have to fear but be comforted by His presence, His sanctuary and His Love. To those that have Him have salvation & praise. To those that have salvation & praise have a wall built up high for refuge like a wall of fire against the adversary.

To those who trust in Him, remember this, He promises to never leave us nor forsake us. And while this season ahead will not be easy, He is sovereign and still on His throne. All He wants is to bring us all close. And this country, unbelievers, the lukewarm, have hardened hearts and division. What we all really need is to return to Him.

Some may read this and merely roll their eyes and believe that this will never happen. Don’t be like this—>”Again, the word of Adonai came to me: ‘Human being, look! People from the house of Isra’el are saying, ‘The vision he sees concern the distant future; he is prophesying about a time far off.’ Ezekiel 12:26-27.

I love you all. But most importantly, Yeshua deeply loves you more than you’ll ever know.
